Shopping with Ma Mere

This Sunday Mum & I went to Palmerston North for a girl’s shopping day.

We started out by stopping at the Sanson Markets where my cousin has a little stall selling clothes & bits & pieces, and saw people making candy floss mmmm, lucky I’d had breakfast or I’d be wanting some of that sugary goodness.

Next one of my favourite shops for stuff you don’t really need, but could do with, at low prices! Uncle Bills (It’s in the same complex as Norman Ross & Dick Smith), I got 4 red ramekins for the bargain price of $7.18 for the lot! I’ve been wanting some ramekins for a while now but the price always put me off!

The Womens Lifestyle expo was also on this weekend, and courtesy of GrabOne we got two tickets for $10 (And to make it even better I still had a GrabOne Voucher, so it was essentially free!). It was a pretty good expo, freebies all over the show, lots of jewellery, clothes, massages and pretty much anything else you would want! I don’t know if I would have paid $10 each to go, but for free it was pretty good.

Then the actual shopping, we went to the Plaza of course. Where else would we go on a Sunday?! I didn’t actually get very much but mum got a good loot!

I ended up getting some new running leggings, running top, gel bike seat for my spin bike (hopefully it won’t hurt as much now!), and a DVD player so now I can do the 30 Day Shred & Biggest Loser DVD’s that I got from Amazon UK.

What did you do this weekend? Aren’t shopping days the best?!
