EMOM Madness Workout – No Equipment Workout

EMOM Madness Workout – No Equipment Workout

It’s been a while since I posted a workout on the blog and with the New Year in full swing I thought it would be as good a time as any to get a new workout up.

If one of your New Years Resolutions or Goals is to get fitter and healthier then you should definitely give this EMOM Madness workout a try. It is a no equipment workout that you can do literally anywhere!

EMOM Madness Workout - Every Minute, On the Minute - No Equipment Workout

Grab a stopwatch (most phones have one these days) or clock with a second hand. Today we have three EMOM workouts for you in this EMOM Madness workout. EMOM is an abbreviation for Every Minute on the Minute. This means for every minute you are going to be performing set exercises, once you have completed those exercises you get to rest for the remainder of the minute.

For example in the first EMOM if you complete your 5 pushups and 20 jumping jacks in 40 seconds you will rest for the remaining 20 seconds (or perform a wall sit if you are doing the advanced version). Once that minute is up you will repeat again until you have done however many rounds relative to your ability.

There are three different rounds of EMOM’s and three different ability levels. Choose the level that is appropriate for you and work your way through the EMOM’s.

EMOM Madness No Equipment Workout

// EMOM 1

5 Pushups
20 Jumping Jacks
Wall Sit (Advanced Only) Perform the wall sit for the remainder of the minute – this will mean you get no break at all which will be tough!

//EMOM 2

10 Tricep Dips
20 Sumo Squats

EMOM Madness No Equipment Workout

// EMOM 3

20 Crunches
10 Leg Raises

Ability Levels

Beginner – 5 minutes per round (total of 15 minutes)
Intermediate – 7 minutes per round (total of 21 minutes)
Advanced – 10 minutes per round (total of 30 minutes)

Have you ever done an EMOM workout before??

  1. Tried this yesterday – did each round four times. I’m just getting back into cardio and strength training so I found four rounds challenging but not too hard and it kept my brain occupied because I had to remember what to do in the next minute!
