Things I Love November

I heard on the radio the other day that is was exactly a month until Christmas and I thought ‘Bullshit!’ and then promptly realised that they were correct. What The?!
Things I Love November 2015
It’s crazy how fast time goes when you get older, I always remember adults saying that time speeds up when you get older and I never really believed them but I sure do now! We have been back in Wanganui for 11 months now, our Bootcamp Business has been going for 9 months and I’ve also been doing Scentsy for 9 months!

This month I have been loving the following things:

Things I Love November - Sydney
// Sydney

We took off for our first proper break since we started Bootcamp at the start of this month. We headed to Sydney for 5 nights and didn’t really have any set plans other than to explore a little (it was Kyles first time to Sydney and my Second), catch up with some of Kyles family and relax. While the rain wasn’t quite what I expected for Sydney in November it didn’t stop us from having a nice trip. We had a BEAUTIFUL day over in Manly and a very Hazy time (from the rain) in Bondi!

// Hangryness at Bay
I have been enjoying having my snacks delivered to me and not having to worry about them. I wrote a post about 3 tips for smart snacking for those snackers amongst us and Nibblish has been great at covering all the bases I mentioned in that article. Head on over to the original post to discover how you can get your first box delivered for $3.50!

Things I Love November - Tricky Twenty-Two Janet Evanovich

// Currently Reading – Tricky Twenty-Two

I’d heard rave reviews about the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum novels but never picked one up until Whitcoulls in Queen street in Auckland had a huge closing down sale and I grabbed a bunch of books at 50c each (I don’t even joke! It’s just a pity the selection was very sparse when I got there!) and there happened to be one of them in there. I am now hooked!! I am loving reading the new release in the series Tricky Twenty-Two, it’s the perfect amount of suspense that comes with this style of book while having a sense of humour as well which is a great way to hook you into a book!

ChocolateBanana-Smoothie
// Chocolate Banana Smoothie

With the days getting warmer I’m more likely to be looking towards Smoothies for breakfast and as a nice light snack option and this Chocolate Banana Smoothie looks delicious and super easy to make! Plus the Nutribullet makes cleaning up a breeze as you drink out of the same cup you mix everything in! #genius
Things I Love - peppermint dreams scentsy
// Scent of the Month

There are so many delicious seasonal scents out at the moment with Scentsy that it makes it almost impossible to choose one. Peppermint dreams sounds rather delectable though! A warm rush of chocolate cupcake cooled by a blast of fresh mint. (Yes please!) On a more serious note if you need Christmas presents for those hard to buy for people, mums, sisters, brothers, kids – we have something for everyone get in touch or check out our website if you need any help!

Top 5 free things to do in Auckland - Things I Love November

// Free Auckland

Let’s face it, big cities can be expensive sometimes so it’s nice to scope out some of the Free options! I love this list of 5 free things to do in Auckland from my friend Sam! I must admit we have only done 4/5 off her list but they are all fantastic ones to do! These tips are great for locals and visitors so make sure you pop on over and take into account her suggestions!
Things I Love November - Mellonsfolly Ranch
// Going Western

We had our Christmas Do last week (In November, I know right?! – it was the only time everyone could go!), and we headed to Mellonsfolly ranch which has been set up as an old western town in the middle of nowhere! It was a great day out despite the weather being a pain in the butt and the very slow trip there due to very muddy gravel most of the way! The scones we were served on arrival were seriously amazing and I probably will never stop thinking about them! We tried our hand at pistol shooting and archery, neither of which I am very good at!

What have you been loving this month?? – Leave a comment and let me know, I love hearing from you!
