The Best Places to Buy Affordable Workout Clothing

Being an accountant as well as a personal trainer it’s only natural that I am always trying to find the most affordable options. Today I have a post for you on some of the best places to find affordable workout clothing!

While Lulu Lemon gear is seriously lustworthy, the price tag is not so much. This is the post for those of you who want pretty workout clothes without the hefty price tag.

As we are coming in to winter it is so easy to let the exercise slip, so grab yourself some pretty workout gear and get excited about wearing it! You could even try giving my beginners kettlebell workout a go!

// Kmart
Oh how I miss having a Kmart so close! Kmart has a great range of workout gear at such affordable prices. I prefer their black leggings to the colored ones as they are a little bit on the thin side. I LOVE all of their tops and hoodies though and want to buy so many as they are always bargains! Downfall for Kmart is that you can’t shop online #boo

// The Warehouse
The Warehouse has been steadily increasing their range of workout gear which makes me super happy! One of my favourite pairs of long workout pants comes from the warehouse and I was super sad when I couldn’t find another pair in my size as they passed my rigorous squat test! Too often the Warehouse is dismissed for it’s clothing, for no good reason!

// Boohoo.com
I wrote about my excitement when Boohoo released their sportswear range earlier in the year. If you have a love for bright workout tights then you need to head on over to Boohoo Stat! It’s not just funky coloured tights that they offer there are also more neutral tones and everything is very reasonably priced and cheap shipping!

// Jeans West
Jeans West have just released a range of active wear which I was lucky enough to try a couple of pieces. You can only purchase in store in Auckland City, Albany and Lambton Quay but you can purchase from anywhere online and that’s some of the best shopping! While the Viola jacket is a little bit more pricey than some of the others out there it has the perfect fit in fact I got told “it makes you look skinny” – Kyle did then get that look, but I knew what he mean’t it has a very flattering fit and could be worn for a more formal look as well.

  1. I just ordered a whole bunch of work out gear from Cotton On online. They had an amazing sale but were already really affordable! I can’t wait to get them.
    I am also into the Michelle Bridges active wear range. We get them at Big W here.
    I am so glad that work out gear is now becoming so much more affordable and mainstream. I used to be too shy to go out exercising because I couldn’t afford the stuff or I felt like an imposter – the stuff seemed so…elite. Now anyone can get cool looking stuff – it’s great.
    It’s been a big confidence booster!

  2. I love kmart for cheap work out gear too! My other fave is Cotton on Body, they have some great slogan singlets and I really like their leggings. I have a pair with a really wide waistband that just fit perfectly

  3. Kmart is definitely a favourite of mine, the Warehouse too! NZ Sale sometimes have good deals on too! But they take so long to deliver!

  4. The Warehouse would be my favourite. I got some great compression shorts for $20! I’m sure they are just as good as expensive ones. I haven’t checked out K Mart, but I’ve heard that is good too.
