Things I Love – March Edition

March is my birthday month and this year there have been plenty of things I have loved, getting older not being one of them!

So much has happened this month (well this year if I’m honest) that I completely forgot it was my birthday until the week before when I looked at the calendar and had a ‘crap it’s my birthday next week moment’.

This month saw us come back to NZ after a little getaway in Hawaii, I completed a second triathlon, we launched intake one of bootcamp sessions and I became one of the first NZ Independent Consultants for Scentsy

Oahu Beaches and Snorkling - Move Love Eat

// Hawaii
Okay, so we actually got back from our trip to Hawaii on the 1st March but I am still going to claim it in this months things I love! We had fantastic weather on our trip and just the right amount of relaxing, shopping, eating and a little bit of hiking. Everything a holiday should be! One of the highlights include our $7.50 steak meal being enjoyed whilst watching the sun set #bliss.

I knew that the day my Introduction kit turned up was going to be awesome, but I wasn’t ready for just how many scents and warmers I would fall in love with and want for myself! I’ve never been a fragrance type of person and I don’t even own a real perfume (please don’t disown me my beauty blogger friends!), but I was blown away by all the scents and now have a ridiculously big list of scents and warmers I want to buy next week when I put my personal order in! You can check out the range here

Things I Love - Finishing a Triathlon - Move Love Eat Blog

// Triathlon
I said I wasn’t likely to do another triathlon again after the Kinloch spring triathlon I did in February. I already had the Short triathlon in Wellington booked in at that stage so was committed too it. I am still saying that I’m not very likely to do another one as I just do not enjoy the swimming at all. I am super proud of myself for doing it though, even though the swim was awful, this one was a lot more my pace as everyone wasn’t crazy quick like the Taupo one where I couldn’t even see them after a few minutes!

// Bootcamp
We are three weeks into our first intake for Wanganui Bootcamp and we are having a ball so far! Everyone is super friendly and keen to give everything a go which makes our lives so much easier. We have such an amazing group and we are super grateful! We are getting ready for intake two and hopefully going to be moving in to a hall soon so we don’t need to be out in the rain when the bad weather comes.  I am super happy with how we have been able to promote the new business and the turnout we have had so far.

Bliss Balls

// Bliss Balls
It had been a while since I had made bliss balls but I made a triple batch of my Mint chocolate bliss balls to go with our introduction kit for Wanganui Bootcamp. There was one packet left over so we split it and they were super tasty, it’s nice to go back to something super simple and be able to appreciate how good the simple things are. These bliss balls have only 5 good for you ingredients!

// Tea
I haven’t always enjoyed hot drinks, I never used to have them at all in fact. I can go for weeks with out having a hot drink and then I have a cup of tea and all of a sudden I am back in love with them and wanting to have one all the time. I generally only have one a day but I have been really enjoying having a nice cup of tea in the morning as soon as I wake up.

What are you loving this month??

  1. Weird- that posted a comment I made on another blog! I meant it to say- I just got some Scentsy goodies too as my sister in law is a new consultant, and it all smells amazing.
